Aarti Hamal, a 36-year-old Nepali woman and Osho meditation follower, has gone missing in Goa.
She is the daughter of Gopal Hamal, the mayor of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city in Nepal.
Aarti Hamal has been staying in Goa for a few months.
She was last seen on Monday night around 9:30 pm near Ashvem Bridge.
Gopal Hamal, her father, has requested help from Goa residents in searching for his daughter.
Aarti's elder sister, Arzoo Hamal, is also flying to Goa to assist in the search.
Arzoo has shared that her sister might have been last spotted at a bridge near Siolim, based on calls received.
Some callers believe Aarti was taken to a hospital or police station, but information remains unclear.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed by the Goa Police in connection with the case.
The family and well-wishers are actively looking for Aarti in hospitals, police stations, and other areas in and around Goa.
