Maradona Kshetrimayum and Engudam Kavita Chanu clinched gold medals on the second day of the 15th Mr India 2024 – Senior Men’s & Women’s Bodybuilding National Championship at Ludhiana, Punjab, on Sunday.
Engudam Kavita won a gold medal in the 15th Mr. India 2024-Senior Men and Women’s Bodybuilding National Championship, which was hosted in Ludhiana, Punjab.
Kavita, an athlete from Friends Fitness Gym in Tera, won the gold medal in the women’s 55+ kg category competition.
Neta Singh Laishram claimed the silver medal in the 60kg men’s bodybuilding while Thokchom Sanjeeta finished third for the bronze medal in the 55kg women’s bodybuilding.
In all, 390 athletes from 32 State units and sports boards are taking part in the two-day competition.
Manipur’s medal tally is expected to increase as more athletes’ results are pending at the time of filing this report.
