Mandy Takhar is a British actress of Indian descent who mainly works in Punjabi, Tamil, and Hindi languages. She was born on Friday, 1st May 1987 in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England.

The Mandy family has its roots in Maliana, a small village near Phagwara, Punjab, India. She was born and raised in Wolverhampton, UK. She then moved to London to study drama at Kingston University.

She relocated to Mumbai in 2009 to work as an actor in the Indian Film Industry. In 2010, she started her acting career in the film industry with the movie ‘Ekam: Son of Soil’.
